MS Track Results....

Congrats to the Ouray County MS Track team on a 44 Ribbon performance at the SJBL Meet in Cortez yesterday! Some of the results were as follows:

Haley Crozier - 1st Place Shot Put, 1st Place 100m dash, 4^th Place Medley Relay, and 5th Place Long Jump
Jessica Walsh - 4th Place Medley Relay and 4th Place Long Jump
Piper Wolters - 2^nd Place 200m dash, 2nd Place 400m dash, 3rd Place 100m dash, and 2nd Place Sprint Medley
Stefanie Thomas 6^th Place 800m Run, 3rd Place 400m dash
Lydia Leafstrand 2nd Place 800m Run, 5^th Place 400m dash, and 2^nd Place Sprint Medley
Jordan Pugh - 2^nd Place Sprint Medley
Holly Harrington - 3rd Place 100m Hurdles
Hayden Kersen - 2nd Place Sprint Medley

School Play - Set Building....

Wendy's School Play is fast approaching and we are finishing up the set. Cut the doors and painted them today. Still need to hang them, and then we move to the Sherbino!

1st Day of Boating Season

The weather was warm and we decided to run the river - Ridgway Town Run. Piper was in her new boat for the first time and looking good! The flow was pretty low, technical, and fun. We even saw a dead deer floating at the bottom of the run near the lake.

¡Vivir la vida de playa!

Just got back from Puerto Penasco and had a great trip. Probably the best weather we have ever had down there....Tues-Fri was calm and beautiful....that means Fishin' weather. Piper and I went out four days in a row and caught a lot of fish. Some new types this year. Flounder, Pacific Mackerel, Spotted Bass, Trigger, others yet to be identified...

We rented a new house this year. A little bigger with a great patio and breathtaking views! We saw a whale from the patio, it popped up a few times and spouted! Cool! Also, saw some dolphins from the kayak and heard a seal.
