Well, we finally did it. Made the big move from Denver, Colorado to somewhere else. We landed in Ridgway Colorado. Its in the southwest part of the state. At the foot of the San Juans. Small town, grand views, new people to meet, and new places to explore...

Escalante to Bridgeport
Wendy and I got away for an overnighter on the river alone. We did the Escalante to Bridgeport section of the Gunnison River. We put on at 6pm on Weds and rolled into camp about 7:30. It was beautiful, no wind, no rain, no people...
Family Values - Telluride

Overnighter on the Upper Colorado
We caught up with Friends Ian, Val, Noel, Janine for an overnighter on the upper Colorado. It was a lot of fun. Piper was in the Ducky. We got a little rain, but overall the weather was great! A bunch of Eagles were buzzing around our camp too.

Pipeline Wall - Telluride
Piper and I set off for Telluride, to the Pipeline Wall, to climb "Ame's Way". This would be her first multi-pitch route. It goes 3 pitches at 270'. When we arrived at the base of the route, two others were starting the climb. So, we ventured down the trail to look around. We found a 1-pitch route that looked fun. We're not sure what this route is, but it was hard...
Then back to Ame's Way. It was a great route with awesome views!
